Measuring you feet for a custom fit bootYou will need two clean sheets of paper that are larger than your foot to draw an outline around it. Outlining should be done while standing, with socks on and with weight evenly on both feet. Draw each outline carefully, holding pencil STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN AT ALL TIMES as illustrated below. Please use soft lead pencil so markings will be black and clear. Do not use ball point pens.
STEP #1 Draw a sketch of each foot one at a time, holding the pencil straight up and down. Start at the heel and go around to the toe to the left and then to the right.
STEP #2 Measure the heel by wrapping the tape measure around the heel using the centimeter side, bring the tape to the front center approximately one inch down from the bend of the foot.
STEP #3 Wrap the tape around the instep of the foot (the highest part of the instep is the best spot). While the tape is around the foot make a mark on the paper where the tape is located on the foot.
STEP #4 Wrap the tape around the ball of the foot, pick the widest two points, also make marks on the paper where the tape is setting on the foot.
STEP #5 Measure the calf at the widest spot.
